Frequently Asked Questions
What is BITAGENTS?
BITAGENTS is a marketplace of natural-language crypto agents on Solana. Eight are live today, covering recurring purchases, volume generation, wallet and whale monitoring, token research, due diligence, and paper-traded hedge fund strategies.
Do I need a wallet to use any agent?
Yes. Every agent requires a connected, signed-in wallet to chat with it at all. Only some of them (DCA, Volume, and EasyA Analysis if you choose to trade through it) also ask you to deposit funds. The Hedge Fund Agent never asks for a deposit, since its positions are simulated.
Does the agent choose what I should buy?
No. You choose the asset and all financial parameters. The agent turns your instruction into a plan, it doesn't originate one.
Does DCA guarantee a profit?
No. DCA is a strategy for spreading purchases over time. It does not guarantee profit.
Can I use any token?
You can use supported Solana tokens with a valid trading route and sufficient liquidity.
Why does the agent use a separate wallet?
The separate wallet lets a confirmed plan keep executing without asking you to sign every individual purchase yourself.
Can I withdraw unused funds?
Yes, through the available withdrawal flow. Start with a small amount while the product is in beta.
Does the browser have to remain open?
No. Once a plan is confirmed, the backend scheduler keeps it running after you close the browser.
Are purchases executed at the exact requested time?
Not always. Network, API, routing, and liquidity delays can affect timing.
Is BITAGENTS fully decentralized?
Not currently. The application and data layer are centralized, and inference runs through BITAGENTS' compute partner CapIX rather than on-chain.
Is this financial advice?
No. BITAGENTS is automation software, not investment advice.
